Prices for boats and ferries

Byøyene/Hommersåk

If you travel with the express ferry between Stavanger, Byøyene and Hommersåk, you buy a normal ticket in the ticket app or with your Kolumbus card.

The same terms apply for these tickets as for single tickets on bus (note: there is no student discount on single tickets for boats).

For the night boat, separate prices apply. You can pay with travel money, but you get no discount on the night boat as this is a special route operated by Stavanger municipality. The ticket costs NOK 150. Period tickets are not valid on the night boat, except the youth ticket.

All other boat and ferry routes

For all other boat and ferry routes, you buy the ticket through billletter.kolumbus.no (applies to the express ferry to Ryfylke and Røvær, as well as the ferries to Kvitsøy, Vassøy, Lysefjord, Fister islands and Utsira).

The easiest way is to find the price for your trip at billetter.kolumbus.no. Search for travel route, passenger type and travel date and time, and you will see the price for your selection.

  • Travel money gives 17 per cent discount for passengers and 50 per cent discount for vehicles.
  • Passengers with the Vassøy ferry can use the 30 day and 365 day tickets.
