Changes in the terms for renting a city bike

To make the city bike available to more customers, there will be changes in for instance the rental time for everyone with an ordinary Kolumbus ticket from 11 January.

Here are the most important changes:

  • The included rental time for everyone with a ticket in the Kolumbus ticket app is adjusted to 15 minutes. Those employed my a HjemJobbHjem company, who have registered their mobile phone number, will keep the included rental time of an hour.
  • The 30 day ticket for the city bike will be replaced by the possibility to pick up a bike without an active ticket in the ticket app. It will cost NOK 10 to pick up the bike from the charging station, and NOK 1 per consequent minute.

The goal is that shorter included rental time and more charging stations at more locations will increase the possibility of finding an available bike when you need it.
